“So, this is it! And it all happened so quickly. This morning for the last time you arrived on campus a student; this afternoon you go home as an alumnus. Today we are no longer your school—we’ve become your alma mater.”
That really hit home with me. I can’t believe it, I really can’t.
Man, I’ve officially had my license for a year. That is insane to me.
I remember when I first got it and I was SO scared to drive alone. There I was, thrown out into the open world in a metal death contraption. I remember all I’d think those first few days was: “I can’t wait until I’ve had my license for a month. I think I’ll be a lot more confident driving alone by then.” By the time one month came around, I was eager for my two month “anniversary” to come around. By two months, I was thinking about my one year.
Here I am one year later. Goodness, I cannot believe how fast time has passed by.

A bird flew into our cafeteria after our final day of school. My friend saved the day.
